In this multi-part series about the best areas of London for leaflet distribution we’ve discussed the North-West and South-West of London so far. Ranging from Hampstead to Putney.
Today we’ll have a look at the area in between NW and SW postcodes. We’ll have a look at West London.
W6
We are going to start in W6. This mostly covers the area of Hammersmith and neighbours on Fulham which we’ve discussed in our previous instalment of this series.
Hammersmith is a very varies area as far as demographics go. Households here range from council properties, social housing, through to young professionals renting all the way to very affluent households with large detached homes.
As such a good mapping system is necessary for any leaflet distribution campaign in W6. In our system W6 is divided into two homogeneous groups of 5,000 leaflets.
As such we can reliably cover and deliver to 10,000 households in Hammersmith. These will form a core of many leaflet distribution campaigns focusing on West London as W6 is a very desirable area for many companies looking at leaflet distribution.
W5
To completely switch gears we can have a look at Ealing and W5. Ealing is truly a West London area. Relatively far removed from the city centre and quite a bit calmer and less dense compared to Hammersmith.
Ealing is full of large semi-detached or detached homes with gardens. The number of these is way above the London average. W5 in general is a larger postcode with 21,000 deliverable privately owned households and a huge geographical footprint.
Many of the households here are city professionals but the numbers of households with children is quite a bit larger than W6 again.
Ealing is a proper West London suburb that is excellent for leaflet distribution campaigns looking to target households of all kinds. Often combined with Hanwell, Acton and Chiwick W5 is a stable part of most leafleting campaigns in West London.
W11
In order to illustrate the amazing variety in West London we can jump to W11 which covers the area of Notting Hill. This is certainly one of the best areas of London for leaflets distribution.
Notting Hill also happens to be one of the most famous parts of London with mostly but not exclusively very affluent households.
The Notting Hill of the 21st century does not resemble the Notting Hill of the first half of the 20th or the Notting Hill of the 1990s.
This area has morphed multiple times over the last 100 years and now it has developed into one of the most affluent parts of London. We can reliably deliver to 11,000 households here and when properly planned a leaflet distribution campaign in W11 can be very effective for anyone targeting these demographics.
