The best areas of London for leaflet distribution Part 5

In the last installment of our five parts series on the best areas of London for leaflet distribution we’ll have a look at central London. Central London and the City of London specifically are very difficult areas for leaflet distribution.

All WC and EC postcodes are full of undeliverable addresses with the proportion of undeliverable addresses to privately owned residential homes more or less completely flipping compared to the postcodes we generally recommend for leaflet distribution.

This will also apply for the more centrally located postcodes in East London. There are some very specific use cases for leaflet distribution in these areas but overall we recommend looking just a little bit further from the City to postcodes like W1, SW1 and N1 for central London leaflet distribution.

All three of these postcodes will tend to include affluent households that receive a lot of mail on daily basis. In a situation like this our strict delivery quality control really shines. We make sure to never bend your leaflets and always make sure to deliver your flyers in the best possible shape.

W1

W1 covers the famous West End, Mayfair and Marylebone. This location is one of the best areas for leaflet distribution in Central London. As you would expect most of the households here are on the very affluent end of the spectrum.

Even though there are many business addresses here we can still deliver your leaflets to 17,000 unique privately owned households. We have theses split into six groups within our delivery system.

These groups are slightly smaller compared to the usual size we go for in our mapping system. This is done with the purpose of keeping consistent demographics in each group and also not having groups sprawl over too much territory.

SW1

SW1 is one of the best areas for leaflet distribution in London period. Belgravia and Pimlico are very good for deliveries due to the high density of terraced Victorian houses. These are easy to deliver to and tend to consist of households that are very responsive to well designed leaflet distribution campaigns.

On top of this there are some 26,000 unique deliverable households within SW1. This also makes it one of the more prolific postcodes when it comes to leaflet distribution in London. SW1, Belgravia and Pimlico are some of the best areas of London for leaflet distribution.

N1

N1 is huge, centrally located, with varied demographics and is very good for leaflet distribution. What is there not to like? N1 covers the areas of King’s Cross, Hoxton, Islington and Shoreditch.

Just from that list the variety of demographics should become obvious but one is to make an overall judgement N1 will be skewing towards younger professionals. It includes 26,000 households we can reliably deliver your leaflets to which makes it one of the larger postcodes in London. (same as SW1)

N1 can however be a challenging postcode to map out and consistently deliver to. Unlike SW1 it is full of traps that could catch an inexperienced leaflet distributor out. As such it is one of the postcodes that benefits the most from working with a professional established leaflet distribution company.
