Hampstead
Hampstead is full of small mewses and winding roads. With a good leaflet distribution company and well structured mapping system, NW3 can be one of the more lucrative areas to distribute leaflets in North West London.
This is due to the types of households and buildings one can find in this postcode. There is good number of families and affluent professionals living in Hampstead. The houses here are often one household properties and have clearly marked letterboxes.
Hampstead is one of the most commonly targeted areas in North and North West London. The companies that use leaflet distribution in NW3 deal in all kinds of services and products. This includes services focused on the household, upmarket gyms, restaurants, churches, event companies and schools.
Heath Street and Hampstead High Street act as a commercial centre to Hampstead with many shops, restaurants, estate agents and gyms. At its most northerly point Hampstead High Street and Heath Street connect and later become Spaniards Road leading towards Highgate.
Hampstead is well known for being the home of many famous British entertainers, politicians and business people. Some of the more notable ones have historically been Gwyneth Paltrow, Chris Martin, Noel Gallagher or Kate Winslet.
Hampstead is full of greenery and larger homes whilst still being very accessible from the centre of London. This is one of the key reasons that many young professionals with families move to this area.
Chalk Farm
NW3 is also a fairly large postcode and as such it stretches all the way down to Chalk Farm and touches on Primrose Hill towards Ainger Road with it’s South Eastern corner.
Chalk farm is an area that includes many addresses that are not deliverable. Large apartment buildings without easy access and business addresses make up a large portion of Chalk Farm.
However, there are still some streets to target with demographics in line with the rest of the postcode.
If you are looking to distribute your flyers in Chalk Farm, make sure to check your distribution company’s mapping system. It’s important that the only roads targeted are the ones with residential homes that are accessible to distributors.
Swiss Cottage
Swiss Cottage is an area perfectly tucked in between Belsize Park and Primrose Hill. It is mostly composed of large houses split into multiple, still relatively large households.
You will also find streets lined with beautiful Victorian terraced single-household houses here. The demographics in Swiss Cottage are very similar to other parts of NW3. One thing that distinguishes Swiss Cottage for a leaflet distributor from Hampstead and other similar areas is how flat the terrain is in comparison.
Swiss cottage is an excellent target for leaflet distribution campaigns as it is full of large, accessible homes and is very easy to navigate.
Belsize Park
Belsize Park is slightly less green and little more densely populated than Hampstead, with comparable demographics. The area is made up of large apartment buildings as well as Victorian terraced houses and larger detached and semidetached homes. It extends to both sides of Haverstock Hill.
Belsize Park is commonly targeted together with Hampstead as it is equally attractive for leaflet distribution. It is simply one of the more obvious areas to focus on, if you are looking to advertise to affluent households in North and North West London.
Via Mansfield Road, we end up moving east towards Gospel Oak.
Gospel Oak
Gospel Oak is the South-Eastern part of NW3. In terms of character, it resembles some of the areas that neighbour it from the south. It’s been largely built up in the 19th century and includes landmarks like the Parliament Hill Lido.
It’s still going to be a part of any leaflet distribution campaign aimed at NW3 even though Gospel Oak itself is a relatively small part of the postcode.
