Leaflet Distribution W3
Introduction
The W3 postcode covers the area of Acton. This can be further segmented into North Acton, East Acton and Acton Town. It neighbours on Ealing in the West, Gunnersbury in the South and White City in the East.
W3 overall is a very well connected part of West London with the Acton Town station running District and Piccadilly Line services and West, North and East Acton underground stations enabling locals to access the Central Line.
The Acton Central and South Acton train stations also provide access to the Overground and the centrally located Acton Main Line station to multiple train services in and out of West London.
Acton can be a very industrial area in places but there are still many green spaces to enjoy. North Acton Playing Fields, Springfield Gardens, Acton Park, Clayton Gardens and South Acton Park are some of the smaller green areas accessible to the locals.
Gunnersbury Park neighbouring on Gunnersbury Cemetery in the South-Western corner of the postcode is the largest park in Acton.
Acton
Acton overall provides us with a mix of Victorian Terraced homes, large affluent detached residences, industrial areas and pockets of small residential homes with varied demographics.
As the mix of these different types of addresses can sometimes be quite eclectic, using a detailed mapping system is going to be important when it comes to planning your leaflet distribution campaigns here.
We’ve broken down all of Acton into four separate maps. Depending on the type of service or product you are looking to advertise we can help you select which of these 4 areas will be ideal for you.
North Acton
North Acton is a good example of an area within W3 with a high proportion of undeliverable addresses. As such a large part of North Acton is excluded from our system. We tend to start delivering south of the Acton Main Line station. From here, we are mostly looking at rows of terraced houses with the occasional smaller apartment building. These also tend to have accessible letterboxes and are good to include in most campaigns running in Acton.
East Acton
East Acton is one of the greener parts of W3. It includes smaller leafy and grassy areas as well as neighbouring on Wormwood Scrubs which is one of the largest green open spaces in this part of London.
East Acton has a layout that contrasts with the more grid like character of some of its neighbours. It is made up of naturally winding roads, a small local green, and a number of tucked away streets with a few houses each. In many ways East Acton has a village like atmosphere. As it is still includes mostly residential addresses and is very easy to navigate, East Acton is a great part of W3 to include in most leafleting campaigns.
